This is one of our favorite Moab-area trails. It's not too long or strenuous, it runs along a beautiful desert stream, and after two miles you reach one of the largest natural rock spans in the world.
Fisher Towers is another hike in the Moab area of Utah that isn't within a designated park. Anyone can just drive in, park, and hike among massive red rock towers. Because it's outside of Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, it's not as well known or as crowded as other area hikes.

This is an account of our first visit to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. It was a rather short visit, but it was a beautiful drive, and it set the stage for later excursions in this remote area.
Moab, Utah has spectacular hiking, and the Corona Arch hike is a fairly short, fantastic example. Corona Arch and the accompanying Bowtie Arch aren't located in any designated park, so access is open and free. If you are hiking around Moab, don't miss this one!
